Trip to St. Loius

This last Wednesday Mari and I flew to St. Louis to visit Liam and of course Uncle Cory and Aunt Sarah. Grandma and Grandpa Quirk came as well. It was such a fun visit and it was so fun to see Mari and Liam play together. Mari has been learning how to crawl and she definitely perfected that on our trip. Here are a ton of pictures, it is hard to chose which ones to share so why not all of them. Sorry!!

Mari loves to chew on on everything including, taking Liam's crocs off his feet, and chewing on them.

Liam has a gated play yard that he doesn't dig to much by himself. It was much more fun with someone else to play with.

Grandma got the kids a fun froggy pool. Of course it was very entertaining for them while we were getting it ready to go.
Mamma and baby girl out to dinner.

Grandpa was so good at keeping Mari entertained with the computer. They would watch videos and dance. Also, make videos with the webcam. She had so much fun.

While we were in St. Louis we took the kids to the zoo. It was a hot day but we had a great time. It was fun to see the kids watch the animals and their reactions to them.

Mmmmmm..... Lunch at the zoo!

We really enjoyed the penguins partly because it was indoors and very cold. A nice break from the humid heat.
Grandma and Grandpa treated the kids to a carousal ride. I think they enjoyed it. The moms did.

Getting ready to take a dip in the pool.

They loved the sprinkler that spouted out of the pool.

Uncle Cory and Mari hanging out.

One last swim before we had to head home early Monday morning. Thanks for everything Peck family we can't wait for the next visit. We love you and miss you already.

I have some very cute videos, but can't get them to download. I will try again.

1st Rockies Baseball Game

On Sunday we went to the Rockies game with our friends Ben and Rachel.  \ I can say it was a lot of fun with a new challenge.  Overall Mari did great considering the plan was for her to take her nap in the car on the way down to Denver which is about and hour and half, needless to say she didn't like that plan and napped for about 30 minutes.  We sat in the sun so that was the hardest part for her.  We had lots of snacks and frozen foods to eat and stay cool.  Unfortunately the Rockies lost (shocker).

Mari and Ben outside the stadium waiting to pick up our tickets.

We had very good seats, but since they were in the sun we got a lot of exercise going up and down the stairs to the shade and breeze.

Greg, Mari, Ben and Rachel

After the game waiting to get in the car.  She did sleep the whole way home.

Look at me! :)

Mari has started to slowly crawl and get around so much more.  That means we end up all over the house.  This day she scooted over to the computer to say hi, it is one of her favorite places to sit.  She likes to play with all the cords while we Skype with all her Grandmas and Grandpas.  Those little smiles already seem to say I am sweet but oh am I going to keep you on your toes.

Look Mom I do to like to play with my bouncer.

Just a cute naked baby getting so big.  Mari had her 6 month doctors visit the other day.  She weighed 15 lbs 1 oz. and was 27 inches long.  I can't believe how big she is getting.

I love my new toy that Mom and Dad got me.  The problem is I don't know how to stand up by myself yet, but it will be right around the corner.

Oh What A Day!!  As my grandma Quirk always says I am a diva.

Since we seem to be teething forever we tried the teething biscuits.  She loves them as you can see.  they get everywhere but they make me happy until my face gets washed then it is absolute torture.

To the Park!!

A few weeks ago we took Mari to the park for the first time.  Of course the weather was beautiful unlike it is now (crappy and rainy).  I feel like we live in Seattle.  She loved the swing and watching the little tea cup poodle running around.  Then we were off to the slide.  She enjoyed it all and loves our fun outings.

WEEEEEEEEEE

This was a little slide we let her go down.  Of course not on her own.

And here is the big twisty slide that we both took turns taking her down.
