1st Pumpkin Patch Experience

Well, it has been awhile since we have had any updates. So here we go! First, Mari is going to be a big sister and she is sooo excited. Mom and Dad are too, but Mom hasn't been feeling top notch, so that makes it hard. Oh well! We are expecting our new little one May, 27th 2010. Mari has also tried to walk on one occasion and she did very well, unfortunately she decided that was enough and crawling is much easier and quicker. I am okay with that however, she falls more because she isn't sure what to do always. So here are some pictures of her before fall/winter has decided to come.

Like I said earlier Mari falls more which resulted in her 1st black eye. I didn't actually see what happened, but it popped up instantly. It seemed to take forever to heal.

Here is our little monkey. Mari loves to climb on anything and especially up the slide. Greg is not helping her she did this all on her own, he just made sure she didn't fall back down. We don't have a whole lot of fear.

Here I come Mom!!!

Ok, now to tell you about out 1st pumpkin patch experience. I can start by saying it is not the most positive, but we will try again. On a rare occasion the weather in Denver is much colder than in Breckenridge. Again this is rare, of course this was one of those days. As we leave a sunny Breckenridge with some friends after church we end up in a 26 degree cloudy, grey, and icy Denver. So we go to the pumpkin patch anyway. To start things off I locked our keys in the car. Great now we are stuck, oh well lets go have some fun. Yeah right, think again. Then as we get to the main area we find out the the actual pumpkin patch is closed until the next weekend. There were hay-rides, pony ride, and a corn maze, which could have been fun had it not all been so pricey and warmer. We did find a security officer to help get our keys. So needless to say we tried to get some cute pictures anyway while our keys were being rescued. After being so cold all the kids were crying we left and decided the indoor Aquarium would be a much better success. We were right.
Daddy and Mari checking out the horses. She loved watching the mini ponies.

Mommy and Mari posing with the locked up pumpkins.

Let us in!!! All the kids tried to get in and see those balls as Jude said.

We are about to the freezing point here.

Erika, Jude, Mari, and Andrea

Checking out the snowy pumpkins.

I think I am about done Mom and Dad.

At the aquarium.

Mari loved watching the ducks swim around.

Jude and Mari hanging out, watching the fish and each other. Too cute!!

Check out that huge fish...

Mari loves crawling through the tubes here and at the park.

In the bubble in one of the fish tanks.

I love this picture, because Mari is pretty clueless of the huge shark.

At the very end you could pet the sting rays. I think she was able to touch one, but the water was just as fun. After all the hoopla with the day we ended it on a fun note.
